The Santa Barbara Zoo's award-winning Adventure Camps introduce kids to the wild world of animals and science. Age-appropriate themed programs include games, teacher-led workshops, behind-the-scenes visits, up-close animal introductions, hands-on science, and crafts.

Zoo Camp scholarships are available for summer Zoo Camp sessions. The Santa Barbara Zoo works with the Santa Barbara Police Activities League to provide scholarships to low income families. Visit the PAL website for more information!

Winter Day Camps
Need some time to get your holiday shopping done? Looking for something fun for the kids to do after the rush of Christmas? Back by popular demand, The Santa Barbara Zoo is offering day-long mini camps for children ages 3*-9. All days are different - register for one day or more!

Dates: Monday - Thursday, December 20 - 23 (Note: no Camp on Christmas Eve)
Monday - Friday, December 27 - 31

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Cost per day: Members $40 (register for 5 or more days and get $20 off your total!)
Non-members $47

* All children must be completely toilet-trained and need no assistance in the bathroom.

The Zoo offers a Spring Zoo Camp during the school break: join us for some wild Spring Break fun! Campers will enjoy learning about the Zoo's animals through games, crafts, up-close animal encounters, and behind-the-scenes tours. For children ages 3 - 9.
