Why Come to the Zoo?
The Santa Barbara Zoo is the perfect resource to make your life sciences curriculum come alive! We strive to provide programs that will be engaging, meaningful, and fun for your students, regardless of their age. All of our programs are aligned to the California Learning Standards, so that we can add to, not distract from, the material you are covering in your classroom. With more than 500 animals in our collection, the possibilities for your class are endless. Call a Zoo Educator today to design the perfect field trip!
Zoo to You
The Santa Barbara Zoo is pleased to offer science fair, career fair, and classroom presentations. Unfortunately, due to health concerns, we are not able to bring any of our animals off of zoo grounds, but we can and will bring animal artifacts and age-appropriate presentations for your students.
