Member Month Foster Feeder Special
Just in Time for Halloween: Monsters! (Monstersauria, that is)
The Santa Barbara Zoo is proud to announce the arrival of Mexican beaded lizards on exhibit. The Mexican beaded lizard is one of only two species of Monstersauria (an ancient group of poisonous lizards) left in the world. In honor of October being Members' Month, we are extending an exclusive Foster Feeder offer to Zoo Members only. For the special price of $25 (regularly $75), a Mexican beaded lizard Foster Feeder will receive: a card with a photo of the lizards, an animal fact sheet, a Foster Feeder certificate, and his or her name on the Foster Feeder recognition board.

The Mexican beaded lizard is vulnerable according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources. The lizard's habitats in Mexico and Guatemala are being destroyed by human development.

Foster Feeder sponsorships also make great gifts. When you purchase a Foster Feeder for a loved one, you not only give a unique gift, but also help feed the animals at the Santa Barbara Zoo!
